A little over 24 hours ago, the Air Jordan 1s worn by Michael Jordan in the 1984-85 season with the Chicago Bulls was auctioned off for $560,000 on Sotheby’s!
You thought we were joking?
The lucky seller who owned them since 2012 is nothing more than shoe collector Jordy Geller.
Jordy is completely obsessed with sneakers and his collection has become a real museum, which justifies the Guinness World Record he received in 2013.
The collector, however, declared he wants to give it a cut… and for this reason he will get rid of his collection slowly, keeping only some sneakers to which he is particularly fond.

The sale of this pair, in particular, coincided with the release of the last episodes of The Last Dance, the documentary on basketball star MJ– you can read the article HERE.
It was a strategic choice super spot, in fact, from the first launch at the price of $150,000, the figure has almost quadrupled, breaking every record ever reached.
If you also are a sneaker addicted and in particular you like Air Jordan, you can’t absolutely miss the best AJ 1 ever!
