Missoni was among the first brands that this morning inaugurated Digital Fashion Week in Milan.
Through “Look Right Through Me” short film, Missoni tells us about a joyful world, full of colors, elegance and fun. A suspended time period, which seems to show the clippings of a past life, freeing our memories and the desire for a better future. Places seem connected but disconnected at the same time, like in a dream.
“From the blue soft lights of the bowling alley and the metropolitan outdoor spaces to the intimacy of different domestic situations and the glamorous appeal of a mysterious club, the camera captures the life of independent women showing a strong, distinctive look.”
The video was shot around Milan and “Mad World” soundtrack seems to be the only thing that resonates among those uninhabited spaces, with a group of young women who relive desire of a generation by trying to free that nostalgic dynamism.

The FW 2021 collection revolves around the concept of the cosmopolitan woman who desires comfort but doesn’t want to give up her femininity. Precisely for this reason, Angela Missoni has remained faithful to the aesthetics of the brand by choosing knitwear as fil rouge. “I mixed the different seasons to highlight an idea of a Missoni wardrobe made of garments that are always designed to last well beyond a season, accompanying every woman throughout her life, becoming a fundamental part of her wealth of memories” said creative director.
Clothes are full of colors and with refined textures. Laminated, lurex and sequins fabrics are offered with comfy-chic garments such as cargo pants, maxi sweaters and soft cardigans. Fabric prints denote brand’s heritage, such as herringbone, striped and zigzag prints.
