Today the MeetTheBrand lounge hosts Sara and Daniela, once colleagues at Cinecittà Studios, today entrepreneurs for Lalì Natural Cosmetics. Founded in 2018, by two “passionate” friends and associates as they define themselves. The result of a non-renewed contract, which turned into an opportunity to extract a dream from the drawer. From the first do-it-yourself experiments, to the birth of a brand.
Hi Sara and Daniela, thank you for accepting my invitation.
How was your beauty cosmetics brand born? How was your passion for this area born?
Our passion for natural cosmetics comes from afar. We like to think of a perception and attention to well-being in a broader sense. Starting with a healthier diet, preferring selected ingredients in the kitchen and in the products we use for daily hygiene and cosmetics. Thus began a long period of research and study, which lasted more than 6 years. By deepening the search for all natural raw materials, characteristics and related benefits.
Only then did we decide to create natural products for face and body, which could become a real daily pampering. A goal that led us to carefully choose fragrances.
We wanted a recognizable brand, which differed from the example of the Green brands that were already on the market. The sensory experience of a well-formulated product, containing natural active ingredients, but also beautiful to look at. As for aesthetics, the meeting with Laura Savina, our graphic designer and illustrator, was of fundamental importance. She gave us wonderful graphics and our beautiful logo, making our products as unique as we would like them to be.
In short, we wanted everything, high quality, natural products, beautiful to look at and with an intoxicating scent, and we are convinced that we have succeeded.

What prompted you to finish your career and take the path of female entrepreneurship in the world of cosmetics?
Initially our work as a television producer ended due to a non-renewal of contracts, this stop led us to understand that it was no longer what we wanted to do in life. Instead of looking for a new job in the most familiar to us, we decided to create something of our own, which would express what we are and what we love.
An anecdote from that period that you remember with pleasure and that you want to share with Wait!Fashion readers?
It was actually our first love, cinema that inspired us. The first idea came from a very nice movie, “Baby Boom”, do you know it?
A career woman loses her job because she has a daughter and totally reinvents herself by creating a line of natural baby food, initially preparing it from her home in Vermont and then transforming it into a successful business.
It’s a film that both of us have always liked. One day, while we were together, they broadcast it, we looked at each other and said let’s do it too!
Would you tell us how a Lali Natural Cosmetics product is born?
It arises first of all from a need: dry and dull skin, the first wrinkles, for example. Then the study begins to look for the most suitable raw materials, tests, tests is a long job but we are always motivated to create effective products.

Are you planning to include some new product? And which? If you can reveal it to the readers.
Yes, we are working on 3 new products and we hope to launch 2 for the summer! A wonderful new graphic by Laura Savina will also follow soon.
Any plans for the future?
Right now we are working to make all our packaging eco-sustainable.
At the same time, we hope to soon be able to enter the European and extra-European markets on a permanent basis. We have been working on it for some time.

Do you think that the world of cosmetics is changing and the consumer with it?Definitely yes, the world of cosmetics is changing. The consumer pays more attention, looks for more natural and genuine products, but also the result of craftsmanship. We have found that more and more customers are approaching our brand because they prefer to buy products from small local businesses, with which they can establish a relationship of interaction and comparison, as in our case. For example, we know more and more people who can read product labels. The consumer is becoming more and more attentive to the world around him, he buys natural and organic cosmetics because he wants to respect nature and animals, eco-sustainable thinking is becoming a priority.
What would you say to those who still don’t know you? What distinguishes the brand in three adjectives?
The first thing we would say is: try the Lalì line!
Our products were born several years ago, when we were still making them just for us, a reason that immediately prompted us to choose the best natural organic raw materials and the best active ingredients, to have a healthy and radiant skin. We have transformed all this into our professional line, offering cosmetics of the highest quality but at an affordable price.
For us, well-being is everyone’s right!
The three adjectives that distinguish our brand are: natural, effective and even glamorous.

Sara and Daniela’s products, founders and beating heart of Lalì Cosmetics, are a dip in their artisan reality. No, they are not the usual Green products, but the confirmation that research and craftsmanship are independent of the ingredients. You can have products with natural and refined active ingredients, with a pack that is in line with the times, and a price that deserves even the last cent for the product offered, as they say.
In the official shop you will find a very interesting line, but let’s see some of them together:
Cleansing Milk (with Calendula extract): it contains a series of very precious active ingredients, such as: Cannabis Sativa seed oil, Burdock root extract and Calendula flower extract, ideal for all skin types, it has anti-inflammatory properties, antiseptic, soothing. The fragrance is delicate and sends me straight to the next trip. Ideal to keep on for a few minutes as if it were a mask.
Chamomile Biphasic Make-up Remover: removes make-up to perfection, use a fair amount, it is not necessary to overdo it, remember to shake it to blend the two parts of the product.
Damascus Rose Tonic: This tonic differs from the fragrances of the line, it is enriched with hyaluronic acid, which is found almost at the beginning of the inci, therefore it is present in large quantities, increasing the rebalancing and moisturizing effect. It is not the usual tonic.
Intense Moisturizing Face Cream: From the moment you unscrew the lid of the jar, you will immerse yourself in an experience that envelops all the senses. The color is yellow, reminiscent of a custard, but the fragrance is wonderfully floral. The texture promotes absorption, in both variants (dry and dehydrated skin – normal and combination skin). Once absorbed, the skin is smooth like a peach, even if inside we find: organic Japanese camellia oil, cocoa and shea butter, organic aloe vera gel and coenzyme Q10 to name a few components.
Night face oil: it is light and ideal to be massaged on the face after the cream, it is absorbed at the right point and accompanies the skin during the night refreshment phase. Needless to mention the fragrance, even in this case it will amaze you, a boost to your mood.
