“Mediterranean, I love you.” So Cecilia Bringheli wrote on Instagram a few weeks ago next to a beautiful picture of our mare internum. Her passion for this atmosphere full of wonder combined with the need to wear high quality shoes, took her in 2010 to found in that of Milan her brand: CB Made in Italy. Now six years have passed and, from its iconic model Positano, they were followed by many others all different but with one constant: to be made entirely by hand in Italy.
Do not disappoint the spring/summer collection 2016. Bringheli leads us to discover places like the Moroccan souk full of flavors, colors and vibrations. Or the romantic streets of Venice, a magical night in Beirut and a day at the pool comme Bardot in that of Saint-Tropez.
The leather and the finest fabrics with precious and originals prints are the result of the craftsmen artists savoir faire who perform with dedication the models. Among the most recent, CB Made in Italy made two mules, Ravello and Vietri, and the moccasin Fornillo.
In addition to being technically high level, these shoes are the symbol of a lifestyle, the Mediterranean, which, fortunately, is returning in our way of being daily. In a world where the fast fashion is slowly ruining the concept of “informed purchase” there are still those who, like Cecilia Bringheli and her team – including her brother Lorenzo with whom she started the brand – believe in it. Fortunately.
