XY. Her’s the concept on which MAX.TAN, talent of Singapore, based his woman’s collection for next winter. The designer has always been fascinated by the codes of menswear on the female body, he study them and try to understand how they can be adapted to the must have pieces of the woman’s wardrobe. These dresses are the result of this long journey.
“This collection simply does not see the woman wearing men’s clothing, she steals indeed essential garments of her boyfriend and breaks them down, then gives them new life” – is therefore a complex road, rich of creativity where unisex is not the keyword but rather the place where feminine forms and volumes are mixed with details typical of the male wardrobe – as the re-interpretation of the pockets of tailored coats – giving a bohemian touch to a collection where the common stylistic thread remains street style.
Tan, therefore, wants to experiment with new codes, shapes, silhouette – yields incredibly feminine despite the bold shapes – without neglecting the quality of the fabrics that continues to improve season after season.
