When a thing works out just brilliantly the first time, why not repeat or better, evolve, in something even greater?
Seems like Mary Katrantzou, a talented Greek fashion designer, is following the example of the famous high fashion brands such as Raf Simons and Rick Owens.
She is now starting to build a solid base for a really strong partnership with the German sportswear giant, Adidas.
It’s hard to describe how excited I was to find out that my name was on the list among people who would be the first to discover Katrantzou’s new capsule collection.
Exclusively presented at Adidas’ coolest Milanese flagship store, right next to Porta Garibaldi’s skyscrapers, it was for sure an event that couldn’t be missed.
First thing I’ve noticed were, obviously, the prints. Lots of color, paired with tennis and diving inspired motifs.
The collection as whole consists of some classic Adidas bomber jackets, long and short length dresses, tops, shorts and of course a few pairs of colorful sneakers.
Certain pieces (like the ones above) were clearly referring to Mary’s exceptional Fall 2014 collection. So it is automatically +1 reason to get your hands on them. Don’t u think?
The collection is already available in stores.
