In September Marc Jacobs released the Heaven youth collection inspired by one of the films of Sofia Coppola, the designer’s muse.
The collection, which harks back to the youthful aesthetic of the late 90s and early 2000s, is made up of short tops, long or pleated skirts, cargo pants, oversized printed sweatshirts, to be combined with equally youthful shoes.
For the collection Marc Jacobs embarks on a collaboration with Dr. Martens, reworking the Audrick 8i HMJ Daisy boot and the Audrick 3iHMJ Tartan shoe, both with Dr. Martens Quad Neoteric sole.
The upper of the boot has been covered with yellow daisies printed on a black base. The second shoe, on the other hand, is covered in tartan punk Stewart, a Scottish fabric. In both shoes, the eyelets of the laces, created by Marc Jacobs, are in the shape of a flower.
The footwear collection will be available from November 13 on the official website of Dr. Martens and Marc Jacobs.
