Unique and handmade pieces, jewelery from Leek by Francesca Porro amazes with their “audacity of simplicity.” Each piece is the result of his work with crochet and handmade knots, searching for the perfect combination of textures, shapes and colors. The mission is to create innovative maxi volumes but also ergonomic without being necessary flashy. The jewelry designer reworks the traditional weaving techniques used in the restoration of the tapestries, using more contemporary and innovative materials like strings. Each necklace tells a story: the thread creates a plot in the tangles, the nodes and in steps of crochet; the eye is lost in shades created by the shadows of the plots. Communicate with few elements, be bold in its simplicity, stand out without being noticed are the principles of the eco-design of Leek.
