To celebrate YOOX‘s twentieth anniversary, JW Anderson created a capsule by dusting off the brand’s archives.
Jonathan Anderson has turned his gaze to his own story, reworking the archives of JW Anderson, and creating a capsule collection that goes beyond the seasons, beyond trends and beyond genres.
We recall that in 2011, JW Anderson was one of the first participants in The Next Talents, the scouting project created by YOOX and Vogue Italia. From this first recognition, JW Anderson has become an internationally renowned brand, acclaimed for its fun style, innovation, and inclusiveness; in fact, Anderson was also named “menswear designer of the year” and “womenswear designer of the Year” at the British Fashion Awards in 2015: a record in the history of fashion.

The silhouettes, colors, and fabrics of JW Anderson x YOOX recall the unmistakable British style of JW Anderson. The masculine and feminine looks are combined together in the warm shades of khaki, brown and gray, declined in fabrics that vary from cotton to wool through corduroy. In the capsule, we see a return to patchwork, a very frequent theme in the designer’s beginnings, but also stripes, paintings, and pleats.
JW Anderson x YOOX is available in the dedicated e-commerce section with ten pieces that can be coordinated with each other, and a price range that varies between 325 and 980 euros.
