The arrival of the twenty-six-year-old singer, Justin Bieber, in the fashion world has been a matter of fact for almost two years. In fact, in 2019, Drew House was released on the fashion market, a clothing project by Bieber, which sees fashion as a collective of young people, cheerful and full of visual cues that refer to the cartoons he is so fond of (just look at his love for colorfull world of Japanese artist Takashi Murakami).
From Fashion Icon as he was, Bieber was able to bring his unmistakable style into his vision of Drew and from that moment the brand has been a success capable of bringing a little of its appeal into each of the garments. From Madison Beer, to Hailey Baldwin and Kanye West: all Very Important People wear at least one Drew garment.
The notoriety of the brand is not escaping to colleagues in the fashion world, interested in joining the Drew family. The last of these is Crocs, who, taking the yellow, symbolic color of Justin’s brand, created a clog with fun colored appliques.
Winning a collaboration with Drew is not only about creating new and fresh content, but also ‘buying‘ the visibility of the Chanteur Prodige: Crocs’ shares have risen 11% after Instagram posts in which Justin shows the shoe card.
Will this collaboration mark the return of the autumn ‘clog’ trend?
At the moment there are no official photos of the collaboration but Justin Bieber, releasing these tesser images, suggests that the clog will in all probability be orange.
