How is it possible that many creative inputs reside inside and outside a relatively small object such as a shoe? Or, more precisely, on and in the new summer sneakers by Jog Dog? The made in Italy brand has been inspired, in fact, by different concepts, four in particular: architecture, interior design, rational forms and – even – the golden section, the latter in order to evoke “a pure geometry and perfect, on which stand the principles of universal order and balance.” Plato will excuse us, to these intelligible worlds, the designer team combines, as it uses since 2010, elements updated to contemporary street-style, without forgetting the sports aesthetic.
There are many models produced, both for men and women, and there is the risk of confusion. So we try to highlight which are those that determine the collection, emerging more than the others: the sock-sneaker with a fabric body and the classic lace-up made with two leather textures; both creations are made with rubber sole. These two figures correspond to as many different styles: the first one gives a nod to the Japanese fashion, independent and linear, while the second favors the western taste, more classic and practical.
This copiousness of creations is probably to be found in the team of designers known to be composed of international creatives, thus adding diverse realities and experiences, useful for diversifying the product. And if the risk is not to find a constant line season after season, the positive side is, precisely, to put itself on another level with respect to the competition, offering customers a product that, if nothing else, is realized in the country king of artisan know-how, Italy, and not elsewhere.
