A less more than 24 hours ago, Instagram presented a guide to the virtual fashion shows during the webinar Ideas for digital fashion week’.
Once again we can say that the COVID-19 has not stopped the world of fashion and social media!
The webinar “Ideas for digital fashion week” was organized by Facebook.inc in collaboration with Eva Chen and the National Chamber of Italian Fashion (CNMI).
After the first Digital Fashion Week in China and its success, the CNMI continued to work to give all brands the opportunity to promote themselves and carry on their business.
The guide is divided into two parts: the fashion show and shopping.
The shows will be announced by the brands with a countdown in the stories and then will be broadcast live on IGTV.
Followers will also have the opportunity to peek behind the scenes, in an attempt to increase engagement and make the experience as close as possible to a “normal” runway.
As for shopping, however, there is big news coming: the possibility for brands to create advertising ads directly on IGTV. An experience of “live shopping” that will probably yield many revenues to the companies in question.
The ads on IGTV will come from next week in a completely experimental way!
To keep you up to date on fashion and social media, take a look at the initiative of Facebook “Shops”!
