THE TWO BRANDS PRESENT DREAMLAND INSPIRED BY THE MOST SECRET AND MYSTERIOUS AREA OF THE PLANET
The SAUCONY x LV FEATURE sneaker is inspired by Area 51. The area, part of the state of Nevada (USA), is the most secret and unknown in the world, because it is inaccessible to us mere mortals. In fact, only scientists and officials are admitted.
To do what? Apparently – it is obviously necessary to think by suppositions – that in that space of 26,150 km² the aliens are studied, coming from other planets. The extraterrestrials, in short.
But back to the collaboration between SAUCONY AND LV FEATURE. Dreamland, the name of the shoes, sees the iconic silhouette of the Shadow 5000 at the center of the project which, thanks to a mix of truly exclusive materials and details, wants to celebrate all the voices and mythologies around Area 51.

THE DETAILS OF THE SAUCONY SNEAKER x LV FEATURE
«Rough leather, perforated nubuck and suede are the materials that characterize the upper, on which we also find luminescent details that, in low light situations, reflect their fluorescent shades.» The brands explain.
«The primary color chosen for the Dreamland is black on black with different shades, each associated with the various materials chosen for this shoe.»
Furthermore, «reflective details and the printed logo instead represent the spy planes and military weapons that have been tested in this top secret place, while the glow-in-the-dark elements underline the belief that aliens exist and live in the Area 51.»
«As in any secret place of a government, one might expect to find the classic signage used to discourage the curious. Instead, Saucony Originals and Feature have chosen to use the yellow-black “warning” motif to embellish the Shadow and its special box, so as to capture all the attention possible.»
The SAUCONY x LV FEATURE Dreamland is available at the best Italian sneakers stores starting October 25th.
