The latest drop of Hiroshi Fujiwara’s AK457 Burton line sees a capsule that pays homage to the snow-capped mountains of Mount Seki (an onsen resort in Niigata Prefecture) and to Hakkōda Mountain (Aomori Prefecture).
The capsule lends itself to a simpler graphics because the version of Seki has “NG457” in the front that denotes Niigata while the onsen emoji is present on the back with a logo of Lightning Bolt. The Hakkōda version has “AM457” in the front while a snowy mountain carrier is paired with a Fragment logo.
Co-created with team rider Burton Takeuchi Masanori, the collection will be exclusively for the Burton flagship in Tokyo, Nagoya, as well as on Burton JP’s online store. For those interested in prices, the hooded sweatshirt and T-shirt will retail for ¥ 7,900 JPY and ¥ 4,900 JPY (about 63 and 40 euros), respectively.
