SUNNEI, the brand of Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo, has once again given us an example of how digitalization is becoming increasingly popular.
Not only has the brand decided to join the Milan Digital Fashion Week, but it also has an equally important project in the pipeline, always linked to the digital world.
This is SUNNEI Canvas, a platform that thanks to virtual reality will allow users to customize fifty of its most iconic unisex items, including clothing, accessories, footwear and bags, to their liking.
We had been thinking about setting up our business model for some time. When the lockdown started, we thought it was the right time to experiment with this new approach, also because the pandemic was throwing uncertainties in the sector and as a digitally expert company we felt ready to take the step.

According to what was announced on Instagram and then deepened in an interview with the two designers, the initiative will be available at about 30 ratailers.
Thanks to technology, they will be able to provide their customers with a unique personalization experience, which involves choosing the color, the fabric, the seams and even the length of the sleeves.
All in collaboration with “PEZZO DI STUDIO”, the Milan studio, which has created digital avatars on which it will be possible to see the final result of your personalizations.
The collection of basic items that will be used as a real “canvas” will be presented on 15 July with an online event, to then arrive in stores in December.
