Grounds and Taro Horiuchi team up to create a shoe that’s out of the ordinary!
Grounds, the footwear brand directed by the Japanese designer Mikio Sakabe, is a brand known for footwear with a rounded sole, sculpted in resin. The silhouette resumes that of the Nike vapormax, but is much more extravagant and colorful!

Mikio Sakabe has therefore created a sneaker that really makes the wearer float on the ground.
This time, however, the Japanese designer has taken a step further: he has adapted a winter boot similar to the Wallabe model (by Clarks) to the Jewelery Gounds sole. This is thanks to the collaboration with Taro Horiuchi, founder of the Th products brand, of functional clothing.

We could say that this shoe, which combines two diametrically opposed types of footwear, works despite being so unusual. And why not, such an experiment could be the first of many others in the world of footwear!
These shoes will be released on October 1 at a price of US $ 383 and will be available on these e-commerce stores, Nubian Tokyo, GR8 and Nighthawks .
