It is really difficult to keep up with the great giant Nike, and it is even more difficult to be able to compete with its ability to dictate fashion. In fact, we must acknowledge it, the well-known brand knows how to experiment, overturn and reinvent, going well beyond the functionality of the shoe itself. This time, the undisputed star is the Air Force 1 Shadow “Goddess of Victory”.
The sneaker appears covered with a removable wrapping paper decorated with a marine graphic that celebrates the “Goddess of Victory”, daughter of the giant Pallade and the infernal River Stige. A nickname that also refers to the exclusivity of the female silhouette and the homonymous Nike. The paper wrapper extends to the intertwined laces, while the title appears on the heel in oblique black text. Below we find the base of the shoe, proposed in a gray marble design that is almost reminiscent of historical statues, with relief elements that reinvent the classic look of the AF1.
But the most interesting aspect is given by the representation of the “Goddess of Victory” on the rubber sole. That of Nike is a real iteration without any precedent, attributable even to the mythical figures of ancient Greece. However, the contemporaneity cannot be missing, this time dressed in paper. Who have you ever proposed such a model? Maybe someone or maybe nobody, but certainly nothing comparable to this. Because whether you like it or not, Nike leaves its mark in every step it takes. But what really matters to know, dear readers, is that the sneakers will soon be available on the official website and the estimated price is $ 110.
