Forgotten Pacenotes
Bunyamin Aydin, creative director of the Turkish brand Les Benjamins, has created a collection in honor of the Turkish racing culture and the great Renç Koçibey, Serdar Bostanci and Ali Sipahi, rally icons.
The collection is titled Forgotten Pacenotes. The pacenotes are used to describe in detail how to drive a rally course. The adjective forgotten instead evokes the Turkish cultural root to which the brand belongs.
The Les Benjamins line, inspired by the rally clothing of the 70s and 80s, brings back garments inspired by an entire rally cycle, first of these are structured leather suits and balaclavas.

The aesthetic of the collection refers to every element present in the race, from the colors of the racing cars to the splashes of engine oil and the lettering that incorporates the logos of the car manufacturers.
The prevailing color of the collection is magenta red, an earthy hue declined in various more or less intense shades.
Prints of racing oil splashes or the typical designs of Turkish tapestries are added to the magenta base.
Les Benjamins also wanted to experiment with using natural fabrics that give the collection a handcrafted touch.
The collection is now available on the official Les Benjamins website.
