Momonì, an Italian brand of women’s clothing, opens its boutiques in favor of the Nastro Rosa campaign and, thanks to the exclusive handmade bracelet, raises funds for research into breast cancer.
Once again, Momonì confirms its all-round commitment to women by joining the Nastro Rosa campaign promoted by AIRC, the Italian Association for Cancer Research.
In the various boutiques of the brand scattered throughout the Italian territory, it will be possible only on the day of October 25 from 16:00 to 19:30, give their personal contribution by purchasing a special handmade bracelet, the proceeds will be donated to the campaign prevention in the fight against breast cancer.
“We have been supporting this association for two consecutive years. It is a personal commitment, for women, for women” – explained Michela Klinz, Creative Director of the Maison, who adds: “The idea of the bracelet is born with the hope that wearing it can remind all women of the importance of prevention”.
Despite the high incidence, breast cancer has at the same time, a high percentage of survival, equal to 90%, which can be even higher if the disease is diagnosed at an early stage: hence the importance of the preventive examinations .
The bracelet, woven with red threads by young Indian women from the villages near Varanasi, is a key symbol of the concept “by women for women” and has the ambition to remind all of us how prevention can save our lives.
If you also want to contribute to support this project, you can buy the bracelet in the various Momonì boutiques throughout Italy:
