For the spring/summer 2022 collection, Eytys and creative director Max Schiller reset the brand and try to move forward.
A reset that is not so much about the aesthetics of the brand as the approach used. With this collection, in fact, old becomes a relative concept. Rather than creating something new every six months, the intent is to perfect the main looks and do it every time. This time it was denim.
The reflection behind the inspiration for the collection of Eytys also stems from the pandemic period just experienced, which led the designer to re-examine both his own pace of life and his relationship with fashion. And it is precisely for this and for what has been said previously that the brand has decided to resume the first denim collection of the brand dating back to 2017 offering a wide range of fabrics, in multiple colors and in multiple washes.
We then move from blue denim covered with studs that look like constellations, to tie-dye marble or gray jeans characterized by different shades. However, all the trousers are combined with different garments and fabrics. We move from knitwear, to graphic t-shirts, from leather outerwear to double-breasted blazers to camouflage prints.
There are many representative looks of this collection, but as Max Schiller says, one above all is the combination of camouflage trousers, blazer, Oxford shirt and thick black sandals with angled heel. It is in this look that you can breathe all the magic created by the designer for next spring / summer. It is in this look that a ‘harder‘ and a ‘preppy‘ style come together. It is in this look that all contrasts perfectly meet.
