There are discrete, little shouting realities that love to find themselves slowly discovered by the public – sometimes selected – solely through their own talents. Like Haud, the Canadian men’s fashion brand founded by Shad Uadiale, which inaugurated its presence in the market with the spring-summer 2016 collection.
– The silent man is more beautiful to hear -. So says a Japanese proverb. And it is this characteristic that shapes the entire concept behind Haud. And, in fact, the whole creative design proposed by Uadiale. Indeed, beyond the fashion collections, this Canadian design stands out to be something more: besides producing clothes, the company is a true studio where other areas such as architecture and industrial design converge, going to form an idea of enterprise more linked to the production of objects and clothes, rather than strictly accorded to the world of fashion, of aesthetics. All with extreme attention to detail, only possible through concentration and quiet. However, despite the various issues dealt with, man’s collections remain the current primary business.
Each draft follows its natural path, its history. Thus, in the end, it becomes an artifact narrative a precise moment of creation. With regard to experimentation in the field of fashion – our premise is to study and re-interpret the traditional look of the workers (the suit and other accessories), making it adaptable to everyday life and to the various occasions to which it participates in it – says Shad Uadiale. And how does the fabrication of the fabric and, therefore, the burial of the garments? – Through craftsmanship, experimenting with various techniques, thus seeking in the end to offer our customer a tailor-made garment. –
Maybe it is that the fascination emanating from those who work matter through the body, in this case the hands (and the mind), is timeless. Maybe it is that it’s always exciting to know realities that do not surrender to the many evolutions (or involutions) of our world, but in the light of what has been said, it is really gratifying to know about brands reality like that of Haud, who is preparing for a true launch just between the end of this year and 2018.
