Another day, another brand.
Today it’s the turn of House of Sunny, a colorful and funny brand from London (UK).
I found out about it on IG, and I fell in love with their joyful feed and their not-so-obvious garments.
But let’s start with the origins…
House of Sunny was born in 2011 from an idea of Sunny Williams, a fashion designer who gave the name to the brand.
The two characteristics on which it is based are sustainability and limited edition.
Sunny’s initial idea, in fact, was to realize clothes fro friends!
“My initial intention was simply to build better clothes, fresh and made for friends. Our plan was for the brand to be genuine, inclusive and attractive, and we wanted our ethics to become the backbone.” Williams explains in an interview.
And so it was, because, as you can already understand from the description in the IG profile or from the website structure, House of Sunny really wants to produce its garments in a sustainable way while maintaining excellent quality and craftsmanship.
The prevailing style is RETRO 70s’ with a touch of modernity.
For these reasons, we have selected 5 MUST-HAVE clothes for the summer from their showcase of “SHOPS” on IG – discover what’s Shops in our article.
Parasol Yoga Swim
We’re still not sure if we’re going to go through costume rehearsal this summer… in case, we better start picking out some bikinis to show off, right?
House of Sunny features an asymmetrical top and a mid-life bottom, both with an inspired s70 print.
It is important to specify that each of these bikinis is different from the other because a traditional printing technique has not been used so as to save 40% of fabric that otherwise would not have been reused.

100% Recycled Tonic Scarf
As you can well understand from the name this scarf is entirely recycled.
You can wear it both as a scarf and as a top and there are countless ways to tie it. The print is a mix of pastel colors and presents the classic gin and tonic recipe.

Island Blazer
Summer evenings, especially when you live by the sea, can be quite ventilated.
So it is always better to prevent and carry a jacket… better if pink!
The blazer of House of Sunny has a style a bit ’80’ and you can be sure that no one will have it like yours.
The motif of the print is the hand-drawn logo and, like many other garments of the brand, the fabric has been reused to avoid waste.
Price: £95.20 (balance)
