Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy for Diesel. He arrives at the Italian denim house founded by Renzo Rosso, for the third edition of the Red Tab collection. The street-wear designer is in fact the last guest of the brand, after the contribution of Glenn Martens and Shayne Oliver.
The contribution of the Muscovite was known through a post on Instagram bearing the word GR-UNIFORMA. And this is precisely what represents the new collaboration. Partnership, happened in a very important moment for Rubchinskiy, since it has recently announced the closure of its eponymous brand, to devote itself to transversal projects. But always in the fashion fields.
Then Diesel Red Tag x GR-Uniforma is born. The capsule will be presented in Venice, May 9, 2019, two days before the inauguration of the Biennale, which will hold the bank until November 24. The curious must therefore wait a little longer. What is known, however, is that the concept around Red Tag is freedom of expression. Also through different forms of communication, such as art and music. It is no coincidence that on the day of the presentation, the designer will inaugurate his new creative project through an artistic performance.
The collaboration with Diesel is just an anticipation of GR-UNIFORMA. After the experience with the homonymous brand founded in 2008, and supported by the Comme des Garçons group, Rubchinskiy seems ready to start again, exploring new ways of expressing its aesthetic sense. That is the style that made him known in the most intellectual fashion system, attentive to aspects that go beyond pure appearance.
