The world of sneakers never seems to sleep, constantly looking for new trends to propose, it knows how to surprise and keep the interest of the general public alive. You can’t get distracted for even a minute, when a flash news is already around the corner ready to invade the streetwear sector. Just look at Comme des Garcons that in a few weeks has already launched collaborations with Nike and Stussy.
To join now and form a trio of collaborations is the CDG sub-brand that chooses Vans. Two veterans, or rather two great friends arm in arm who often find each other, consolidating and reminding the world of their friendship.

Where the previous models (Lampin and Authentic) differed slightly from the original aesthetics to predominantly accommodate the CDG logo; this time, the chosen Old School model faithfully reflects the Vans identity, with some minor changes.
The upper in black canvas and suede with visible stitching and contrasting white Jazz stripes are in fact unchanged. The only change lies in the usual waffle midsole that forms the backdrop to the Japanese brand‘s signature and then abruptly stops at the textured tip.

The result is a clean and straightforward collaboration in which CDG by Comme des Garcons launches a new iteration of the Old School model, once again elevating it as a time-honored skate classic. The sneaker will be available from February 5th on the cdgcdgcdg.com webstore. The retail price has yet to be announced but all the conditions for a guaranteed sale are already in place!
