Dear Wait readers, as you can well imagine, technological innovation knows no boundaries, it progresses and spreads like wildfire, touching every social sphere. Even our identity has changed over time due to this growing phenomenon, to the point of no longer being able to recognize the difference between reality and digital reality or as it is now customary to define it: “augmented”. Every day an infinite number of digital updates are introduced and launched on the web, so many that only a computer engineer or a hacker could know them all. But we still live in the third millennium and thanks to the numerous social tools, we always manage to know most of the news that surround us. That’s why for sure many of you will have stumbled upon the new phenomenon of the moment: NFTs.

For the uninitiated, an NFT, acronym of “Non-Fungible Token” is a certificate of authenticity of a digital work. Usually it represents: works of art, videos, memes … In other words, contents designed to be enjoyed exclusively in a virtual way. Are you wondering what fashion has to do with all this? Well, there is no answer to this question because fashion is fashion, which has always been set on automatic updating mode.

Think of Gucci that in recent months has become the protagonist, together with the fashion-tech company Wanna, of Gucci Sneaker Garage, a sort of digital shoe rack for lovers of sneakers and gaming. And let’s not forget Sunnei who also recently launched Sunnei Canvas, an app that allowed the public to customize a rich selection of clothing and accessories at will.
Not to mention Balenciaga who presented the latest Fall Winter 2021 collection in the form of a video game. The examples are endless and for sure others will be added in the future. Right now, in fact, we are offering you a new one.

Buffalo London, the infamous London brand that made the history of the 90s thanks to its iconic chunky sneakers, went further by starting a partnership with the digital fashion house: The Fabricant. The protagonist of the collabo is the Classic Low, renamed for the occasion “Classic BurningFor”. Specifically, the model is re-proposed in a 3D version and animated by Async Art technology that will allow 5 users to simultaneously modify the design of the shoe according to three different themes. They will be able to upset every little detail, from laces to color to texture. Once the restyling process is complete, each player will be able to share it on their social channels.

As reported by the official Buffalo London profile: one shoe, three themes and five players. The game is already available on Async Art while the QR code for the digital test experience will be shared on the brand’s channels from 23 June. You almost want to say: “Let the Buffalo Games begin!”
