Released with the first collection three seasons ago, directly from Central Saint Martins, Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena gave birth to the brand that bears both their surnames: Chopova Lowena.
Creative and colorful shapes characterize this brand that brings contrasts from the different styles of the two designers: on the one hand the folklore of the Bulgarian origins of Emma Chopova, on the other the 80s aesthetic of Laura Lowena, of English origins.
In the fall / winter 2020 collection, contrasting elements, overlapping layers and fabrics from Bulgaria create outfits with a fresh and youthful flavor.
“It’s important for us not to make clothes for the sake of it, but to make things which are part of our heritage, and are helping people!” The two designers explain.
Creating clothes not so much for the sake of making them but to help people. So not only are the brand prices not exorbitant, but each item is made special by its complexity: their denim is decorated with a print made at home by women in Turkey, in Bursa, and each piece is unique.
