We had left her in 2017 with Oscar Tiye, the shoe brand with minimal and sensual lines created in 2013, when she was just 25 years old. Amina Muaddi, the young fashion designer half Romanian and half Jordanian, has decided to make the “leap in quality” and came back into the limelight in 2018 with a new brand that bears her name and that is driving women all over the world crazy.
Arrived in Italy to attend high school, Amina – magnetic eyes and exotic charm – enrolled at the IED in Milan and started working with the main fashion magazines of our country. Afterwards, an important experience in New York, at GQ USA, and then the return to Italy, to realize the dream of Oscar Tiye and the collaboration with Alexandre Vauthier. This year the project that best represents her, starting from a shoes collection launched just two months ago, and which is already conquering lovers of precious and unexpected shoes.
The “Season 0” is made of modern shoes, refined, minimal but gritty. Luxury shoes, but comfortable and versatile (the highest heel is only 9 cm and a half!), which are rooted in a variety of traditions and cultures, just like the talented fashion designer.
The project, conceived in France, but 100% Made in Italy – in Parma, to be precise – offers different textures and colors, glitter, laminates, satins and velvets, classic but representative silhouettes (flared heels, with spool or with more canonical geometries) to embellish every type of look, making it chic and sensual.
Amina Muaddi is certainly among the brands of the moment, and – we are sure – will continue to make people talk about it, especially for the Spring/Summer 2019, because shoes are much more than just an accessory: they are a powerful force, a real source of passion, desire and beauty.
