The new Nike Waffle Racer 2 in collaboration with BLACK COMME des GARÇONS will be released today.
The classic silhouette of the Waffle Racer appears in an all-black version, illuminated only by the white acronym CDG imprinted on the heel: sneakers that only at first glance can appear simple. In fact, there is a subtle play of materials, of details such as visible fringes, as if the shoe had not been completely finished, which gives it a particularly ‘tailored’ touch.
The swoosh is in black denim, and perfectly matches the suede leather bottom, in turn lit by shiny leather on the heel insert. The base of the shoe is ‘framed’ by the black rubber studs, which have always characterized this shoe.
