THE HISTORICAL MAISON COLLABORATES WITH THE JAPANESE STREET WEAR BRAND, AND THE RESULT IS SUPER COOL
BAPE® x Coach is one of the dozens of limited edition collaborations that have been presented since the beginning of 2020. But the combination has a very particular flavor. In fact, the American company, known for its luxury accessories and for having chosen Jennifer Lopez as the face of the campaign dedicated to the spring-summer 2020 collection, has chosen to collaborate with a young and irreverent company. Not only that, BAPE® is one of the pioneers and coolest nowadays when it comes to street clothing brands.
The collection is a métissage of leather and prêt-à-porter items. And it represents a fusion of the identification codes of both brands and celebrates the unique aspects of their hometown, New York and Tokyo. Bold and playful, the collection conveys the spirit shared by the brands, that is, an authentic self-expression and an unpredictable urban style.
This collaboration merges the sensitivity of BAPE® and Coach through clothing, footwear and leather goods. Coach’s Signature motif is combined with the BAPE® Ape Head logo, presented in camouflage, khaki and rainbow jacquard. Among the important pieces there is a leather duvet, BAPESTA ™ sneakers (shoe that celebrates its 20th anniversary this year) and backpacks with the Coach silhouette, all characterized by the Ape Head motif. Finally, t-shirts with exclusive colors will be available in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Paris and London.
