Balenciaga has collaborated with Vibram for the “Toe” collection!
The Toe collection will soon be available for purchase… but it’s not the first time we’ve seen it.
Balenciaga had anticipated it during the Parisian show for the fall-winter 2020 collection. The flooded catwalk, a reference to the rising sea level, is a difficult image to forget, the perfect background for such a bold collection!

So eight months after the event, Demna Gvasalia has officially presented the “Toe” collection, created in collaboration with the Italian footwear brand Vibram.
Vibram, founded in 1937 by Vitale Bramani, is a leading manufacturer of rubber soles for sports footwear. The latter is known for the patent of Fivefinger shoes, shoes characterized by a very soft rubber sole that separates each toe. The sole patented by Vibram allows a unique experience of contact with the ground and is suitable for both a walk and climbing.
Balenciaga has used the Fivefingers model for this collection, which includes two pairs of sneakers and a pair of high heels, proposed in different colors.
