The Chinese e-commerce JD.com with Sony and the American Snapchat are working on some projects of “Augmented Reality”!
The AR is a technology that allows us to potentially do anything, even try clothes online without moving from the sofa home.
For this reason, many brands that have found themselves having to face a period like that of COVID19, have started to design ad hoc solutions for their consumers.
Chinese e-commerce giant JD together with Sony Semiconductor Solutions started to design a software for augmented reality.
The latter gives the opportunity to customers to calculate the size of the foot online so as not to make a mistake in buying shoes.
These two brands also collaborate to develop systems of AR Skin evaluation or AR live streaming.
As for Snapchat, however, has recently introduced a similar mode that allows you to try shoes virtually.
Gucci took the opportunity and immediately allowed its fans the “try-on” of some models on Snapchat.

Just select the shoes and point the camera towards your feet and you’re done.
If they like… there’s always the “Shop Now” button for a quick purchase!
