The Milan fashion week is almost over and, before moving to Paris, let’s take stock of the news that has emerged from these days of the show and discover together the new trends. Let’s begin.
Ermenegildo Zegna was among the first brands to show. A collection designed by Alessandro Sartori, which reflects the idea of a man who has learned to spend his days combining private life and working career. So, what’s better than creating a fluid style with garments that make him feel comfortable but at the same time ready for the outdoor life?

Silvia Venturini Fendi had the same thought, who perfectly coined masculine elegance with comfort and made knitwear protagonist with oversized coats and waistcoats, trends we already knew but which have been reinterpreted with the prints of the artist Noel Fielding. To always remain faithful to this new fluid style, Fendi has thought of tights and comfortable quilted trousers.

Different is the Prada man, who while “trapped” in a digital space, tries to awaken that innate desire for physicality and contact with other human beings. Thus, Miuccia and Raf Simons decided to play with sensual cuts and vibrant colors. Probably the same line of ideas on which Massimo Giorgetti of MSGM worked, who with the “Vertigine” collection wanted to ‘free’ man from the monotony of these days, with technical clothing perfect for the wildest adventures and outdoor days.

K-Way also launched an eye towards the future, bringing the ideal style to the catwalk to face the challenges that await us. K-Way experiments with technical and innovative fabrics, such as nylon, velvet and leather, applied on nails, iconic down jackets and oversized jackets.

Etro, on the other hand, plays on colors, on original, eclectic fabrics, applied to jackets and vests, a much desired and worn garment, the latter that Kean Etro has also decided to design with a wide color palette.

Tod’s and the creative director Walter Chiapponi choose elegance, but in an ironic and relaxed way. The fashion film “sevenT” is set in the Lombard location of Villa Ronchi in Vigevano. The protagonist is the actor Lorenzo Zurzolo, who plays a cosmopolitan gentleman while spending his days alone. He wears key elements of English couture, such as trench coats and tweeds, but also practical garments a little bit 70s.
