Albagía is a brand of Italian prét-à-couture, created from pure geometries and clean volumes, which delineate a precise and captivating silhouette, created to enhance the body of a woman, decisive and powerful.
Albagía was born from an idea of Angela Stanzione, currently CEO of the brand.
On the other hand, as creative directors we find Federico Piaggi and Stefano Citron: both rich in experience (from Mila Schon to Ferrè, then Blumarine and Sonia Rykiel) and a contemporary vision of fashion.
The first collection of Albagía, for the spring / summer 2019 season, develops following a precise inspiration; is a manifesto that immediately declares the identity of this new Italian brand.
It’s the 70s of fashion in Paris and of strong, androgynous women; they are the images of Helmut Newton with angular contrasts and extreme femininity; is Charlotte Rampling on the pages of Vogue Paris; they are the men’s clothes worn without modesty; is the image of Gia Carangi running on the catwalk.
These are 19 looks conceived only in black and white, on high strong sandals and with important white sculpture jewels, such as baroque tone sur ton swirls.
The lines are graphic and geometric, essential. The body is discovered behind necklines and important splits; the forms follow each other alternating male and boxy volumes, in mini dress.
The materials are only natural, precious: gazar, cadì, organza, raffia. They have a legible texture, such as mat or satin. Also the double and seamless patterned leather appears in the collection.
With Albagía we therefore find a contemporary femme fatale that prefers a brand with which to dress 24 hours a day, combining beauty and character in a unique style, which is perfect for her private moments, in the family, and impeccable for her life as a businesswoman.
