The collaboration between Adidas and Matt Groening continues!
After launching two Simpson-themed sneakers, the ZX1000 Flaming Moe and the Forum 84 Low Duff Beer in May 2021, Adidas is ready to launch a winter model.
Inspired by the second cat of the most famous animated family in America, Adidas has created a Superstar in a “Snowball” version.
The sneaker upper is entirely black and hairy. It is in fact made with a fabric that resembles a cat’s fur. In place of the laces we find the face of Snowball characterized by two green eyes, a pink nose, black mustache sewn on and pointed teeth also sewn. All taking up the stylistic trait of Matt Groening.
The sneaker is also equipped with ears and tail which make it the true incarnation of “Snowball”.
The only detail that Adidas lets make the shoe still recognizable is the rounded shell toe, a distinctive element of the Superstar.
The Adidas Superstar Snowball should be released in the next few weeks, just in time for the arrival of winter! For more information stay connected on Wait Fashion!
