Every so often we must innovate. Experiment, change. Amaze, why not. Freitag knows it well, the Swiss company known for making accessories such as city and travel bags, backpacks and wallets with the recovery of the tarpaulins of abandoned trucks. Well, today the brand launches the SPECIAL PETEDITION F610 CINNAMON produced also with another material, PET.
Lightness is the keyword. As they explain on the website «these are unique pieces of ToP quality, as they have always been the Freitag bags, and in addition they are flexible and lightweight thanks to the fabric made from recycled PET bottles emptied and dyed with minimal use of water.» So not only is the re-use of plastic material but also an attention to the environment and the waste of resources across the board.

Zurich bags makers, therefore, continues their path, always remaining faithful to their aesthetic taste and the way to make it tangible. However, the collection fits into what is increasingly a general demonstration against plastic waste. As many know, in fact, it is a material present in practically everything we have around. Even the keys of a simple Mac. That’s why the pieces are created with «a fabric free of PFC in 100% recycled PET. The coloring technique is that of dyeing in paste, in which the color pigments are added already during the spinning process, reducing the consumption of water, chemicals and energy compared to the dyeing method in the piece.» Conclude from Switzerland .
