Lacoste’s iconic crocodile poses and takes on the colors of the rainbow, like the original Polaroid logo.
It is said that a photo is the description of a moment, of a particular moment lived, what seals a memory. Perhaps it was this reflection that led the French brand Lacoste to immortalize its latest creation in collaboration with Polaroid. That’s right, the company par excellence that has made analog photography its trademark, joins the sports brand for a collection that, between bright colors and vintage snapshots, tells a story never seen before.

The background of Marseille, dancers and skaters in a liberating dance, warm and saturated tones that at times revisit the cult moments of the 70s, are all the elements present in the new campaign, orchestrated by the BETC agency and directed by photographer Simon Schmitt. But what really stands out are the garments often in rainbow color blocking like the original Polaroid logo created in the distant 1963. As well as all-over prints made up of numerous archive images. As if all this were not enough to define the identity of both brands, some items also boast a co-branding repeated vertically five times.
But the collaboration does not end there. The duo has in fact seen fit to also include a new instant camera prototype at the price of 150 €. Specifically, it is a limited edition Polaroid 600 in green and red color with the flash cover (which is raised when shooting) that bears the logo of the fashion brand.
The collection is now available here.
