The first collaboration between the two brands was focused on the timeless Dr Martens amphibian, he 1460 model, in the name of total black.
This time Samuel Ross, creative director and founder of A COLD WALL, preferred to work on the 1461 low shoe, another key element in the Dr Martens panorama. The British designer has made some changes to the shoe, characterizing it without distorting its structure.
As the name of the collection announces, the upper is in graphite gray leather and features stitching in the same color along the sides. They trace straight lines that break the sinuosity of the shoe, making it style more minimal and severe.
As in the 1460 model revisited by A COLD WALL, the laces are replaced by a central zip while the black sole, in contrast to the rest of the shoe, has been slightly thickened.
The ACW logo is engraved both in the inner sole and in the heel area.
More information is available on the A COLD WALL website on which the release is scheduled for September 2nd!
