After the success with the Dunk Low x Ben & Jerry’s, Nike proposes another version of the SB Dunk inspired by the Grateful Dead Bears.
Designed by Bob Thomas, the Grateful Dead Bears are a series of bears featured on the back of the album “History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice)”, released in 1973 by the Grateful Dead: one of the most popular psychedelic rock group of the Sixties, and key artists of the so-called Summer of Love.

For this release, the Nike sneakers present a synthetic fur upper with suede overlays, and a fringed Swoosh which reminds to the bears collar, designed on the tongue tab. Another playful detail is the hide pocket with zip on the tongue, that reminds our childhood peluches.

The colorways that will be released are inspired by the colors of the bears; at the moment, pictures of the versions “Electric Green”, “Yellow” and “Orange” have appeared on the web.
The release is expected in the next months, stay with us for other updates.
