VANS REINVENT THE ICONIC MODEL ERA
Past, present and future. All this is the 3RA Vision Voyage by Vans. A sneaker that came to us after going through well over forty years. In fact, the history of the American brand began in 1976 when the Van Doren family presented the first skate shoe, style #95. Its sturdy construction, the continuous updates of the materials and the padded collar have always satisfied the demands of the skaters that darted on the concrete, thus becoming not only the main skate sneaker, but also a symbol of creative expression with its multi-structure panel.
From style #95 to the Era. The latter is the name by which the first model is known today. An unprecedented success, motivated by a lot of aspects, all able to retain brand lovers: different styles, colors and shapes. With a long history that has its roots in the culture of “Do It Yourself”, Era aspires to be outside the confines of traditional sneakers with the introduction of the 3RA Vision Voyage package.
DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE: AN ADVANCED FOOTWEAR
What are the aspects of the new version? «The design is projected and made following the original silhouette of the Vans Era navy, with contrasting stitching on each panel. The fabric structure of the model has deco-multiplied stitching and a triple layer tongue. The Era 3RA also has three midsoles, a reinforced toe cap and internal padding on the heel.» They explain from Vans.
