Here is Demna Gvasalia‘s latest idea for Balenciaga: the Balenciaga laser cube.
The Georgian designer went beyond clothing this time, offering the public an out-of-the-ordinary luxury item that they can show off in their homes.
It is no longer enough to wear a sneaker, too simplistic for the creative director of the brand who has immortalized the most famous models in crystal blocks, entering the world of object design.
It is basically a transparent cube weighing about 1.4 kg inside which a Balenciaga sneaker has been reproduced through a 3D laser engraving (hence the name of the object). You can choose between the Xpander, the Tyrex, the Triple s and the Track.
The Balenciaga laser cube can be purchased online for € 495 or can be booked and collected in the nearest store.
In short, what sneaker fan wouldn’t want one carved in crystal?
Demna Gvasalia could not find a more original and singular way to celebrate Balenciaga creations by making them eternal.
