It was the 2000s, the numerous trends of the 90s had just been abandoned with a very clear and legitimate chaos of styles. There were the Emos, but also the Punks, and those who experimented with color palettes without understanding anything.
The first years of the new century, in fact, certainly suffered from all that confusion, just think of the trends of the time: micro-underwear with low pants, orange tan, pink glitter cell-phones, navel piercings… well, maybe it’s better to stop here.

But we know that fashion is like a cycle, everything comes back but it doesn’t mean that those chilling items have to appear in the same copy. Rather. During the past year there has been a great revival of minimal lines, corsets, as well as micro garments and accessories, which have totally won us over.
Scroll our tips to find out which items are not to be missed.
1. The chocker

This petit chocker by Dior is composed by a metal chain with a gold-colored finish.
2. The Prada Bowling Bag

The iconic Bowling Bag in leather, has recently returned to 2020 Resort runway after exactly 20 years.
3. Low-rise jeans

But not just any pair, better a pair like these Diesel also because let’s remember, there are low-waisted jeans like these and jeans with a decidedly too low waist…
4. Louis Vuitton pochette monogram

Exclusively monogram and lowercase, like most of the accessories worn at the beginning of the 00s. This is an original version created by the artist Urs Fischer.
5. The bodice

Narrow and merely at navel height. But where to find vintage pieces like the ones we can see in reports and paparazzi on Paris Hilton, Sienna Miller or Naomi Campbell? It’s simple, in the second hand. And not just any shop, but this one.
6. Hoop earrings

Big, very big, just like these gold ones from Versace.
7. Top and crop-top

Of all colors, materials, short and very narrow. For a special occasion, the ideal is this top from CLAN, semi-transparent with slightly flared sleeves and V-neck.
8. The Basque

Very flaunted was this hat in denim, blue, smoky gray or tweed like those of Maison Michel, which cannot escape us.
9. Fendi Baguette

As Sarah Jessica Parker said: “This is not a bag. It is a baguette.” And if you aren’t convinced by the new models with shoulder straps, we also suggest the vintage of Vestiaire Collective here.
10. Boots, but not just any pair

These by Max Mara very much reflect the structure worn in 2000s, with a pronounced toe and a fairly low and thin heel.
11. Prada low pumps

The new slingback pumps in brushed leather are for us. Also available in pink and nylon gabardine. Of great trend in the late 90s, as in 2000s when they were worn especially under jeans.
12. Asymmetrical dress

Last but not least, the asymmetrical dress like this mini by The Attico with multicolor sequins.
