THE BRAND MAKES A TRIBUTE TO THE NEXT KERMESSE WITH THE NEW COLLECTION
Bikkembergs takes us to Japan. Specifically to the 32nd Olympiad, with Olympic Animals, the men’s spring-summer 2020 collection. In fact, the capital Tokyo hosts, from 24 July 2020 to 9 August of the same year, one of the oldest (and long-lasting) events in the world: the first Olympic Games are held in 776 BC in Olympia, Greece.

An excursus. Each exit covers all the phases and aspects of the competitions starting from the initial ceremony with formal attire, passing through the different disciplines and concluding with the final celebrations. And since it is about sport, functionality, comfort and dynamism they become the keywords of the collection. The colors are the iconic ones of the rings of the Olympic flag: blue, yellow, black, green and red. In addition to white. For the uninitiated, they represent the five inhabited continents of the world, united by Olympism; furthermore, they appear until now in all national flags.

THE BIKKEMBERGS ADONS BRING THE TESTOSTERONE TO THE CATWALK
Although there are women on the catwalk, men are the real stars of the show. Whether parading in a suit, or wearing a simple black costume combined with a medal, the toned bodies of these adonis manage to remember perfectly the statues of the heroes of ancient Greece.

Other details such as vertical stripes on football uniforms are fused with leopard spots in bright colors to emphasize the speed and animal power of today’s athletes.» They explain from the fashion house.

Innovative fabrics and cuts to emphasize the dynamism of the garments. «All the elements, the cutting lines and the details are worked to represent an authentic aesthetic of the sports team. Elastic fabrics, technical cottons and light nylon are the basis of the collection. The letter K, which makes up the Bikkembergs logo, is used on garments with a graphic effect in black, white and green. Colored 5-color ribbons enrich and delineate the garments together with an Olympic medal-shaped zip puller.» They conclude.
