This winter sees the launch of the first collection given by the collaboration between the Gorillaz and G-SHOCK. This exciting new collection of limited edition watches comes in a period of festivities for both sides: the 35th anniversary of the G-SHOCK brand that occurs in 2018 and the release of a new acclaimed album of the most famous virtual band on the planet.
The goal of the Gorillaz x G-SHOCK partnership, which sees the union of two internationally renowned entities, is to offer a reinterpretation of a classic style.
A new limited edition collection with watches created specifically for members of the band.

The DW5600 has been redesigned for the four models: 2D, Murdoc, Niccals and Noodle in three different color variants that reflect the respective characters through specific details and customized packaging.
The DW5600 “The Origin” is a classic G-SHOCK: launched in 1986, it is the indestructible watch that does not place limits on the wearer. The design of the 5600 is distinguished by its universal look and technical features such as impact resistance, water resistance up to 200 m and scratch-resistant LCD display.

The Gorillaz drummer Russel Hobbs is instead dedicated to the more resistant GX56 “The King”, a solar rechargable watch that, in addition to being used for a long time without changing the battery, offers all the features expected of a G- SHOCK, including the impact resistance and, in this case, also a mud-resist (anti-mud) structure.
For the winter launch of Gorillaz x G-SHOCK models in sales points and online, two dates are foreseen:
–Murdoc and 2D, November 15th 2018
–Russel and Noodle, 15 December 2018
