The partnership between Adidas and the Japanese brand White Mountaineering, specializing with high-quality outdoor clothing.
White Mountaineering, was born in 2006 when Yosuke Aizawa, a disciple of Junya Watanabe of Comme des Garcons, had the brilliant idea of creating a luxury mountain technical clothing, not only using high tech technical materials level, but infusing that magical touch typical of a certain Japanese design.
The collaboration between Adidas x White Mountaineering takes on a lifetime a few years ago, gaining great consensus in the high fashion world and achieving one of the most successful bridges between streetwear and luxury.
This season we have already seen the arrival of the first sneakers in August: the NMd_r1 and the NMD_ r2, hi top version of NMD, in black and olive colors. Then arrived the White or Black Campus with an extremely clean approach, and the Stan Smith leather straps in suede olive.
Finally, we come to the last drop: in addition to an interesting series of garments, here comes the Boston Super Primeknit, in black or green, and finally the impressive SeeULater Alledo Primeknit: in this case it’s not a re-make of a classic like the Campus or Stan Smith, but a brand new model where technical design moves to the highest levels and where the blend of Adidas and White Mountaineering goes further.
