Here we face the second collaboration between Converse and Hancock, a British company specializing in waterproof coats who use special rubberized materials.
The first collaboration, launched last spring, just had the classic Jack Purcell in rubberized fabrics signed Hancock.
In this round, as well as two colors (black and military) that follow on from those of the first edition appears in a completely new model, and with a design, in my opinion resounding: the so called Jack Purcell x Hancock mid Wetland.
Take a classic Converse Jack Purcell, and create a kind of rubber cover on the upper half, which makes them as if they were totally waterproof boots. This division of the shoe give birth to an interesting contrast of design and color between the brighter and less black top.
Finally, the ‘armor’ rubber bottom can be opened halfway through a thin zip that disappears from view when closed.
Available on the online shop of Hancock at 160 pounds (about 200 euro).
