Founded in 2005<\/strong> by former J-League soccer players Keiji Ishizuka<\/strong> and Atsuhiko Mori<\/strong>, WACKO MARIA<\/a><\/strong> is a Japanese brand<\/strong> known for the eccentric prints that characterize its garments and for the frequent collaborations with bold artists.<\/p>\n

The brand periodically organizes events for its community in the flagship store “Paradise Tokyo”<\/strong>, located in Nakameguro<\/strong>. Here take place the drops of all the collections<\/strong>, which are often inspired by Japanese culture, music and art.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the most striking features of WACKO MARIA is its incredible prolificacy that never falls into banality<\/strong>. Over the years it has collaborated with many famous companies such as Vans<\/strong>, Dickies<\/strong>, the Japanese luggage and accessories label Porter<\/strong> but also with designers and tattoo artists.<\/p>\n

Each collection is different from the previous one but still manages to maintain a common thread that makes the products immediately recognizable. Colourful prints, images, references to the world of cinema, music and art are the trademark of the brand.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The assortment of products offered, also available online on the official website<\/a><\/strong>, is really wide: jackets, coats, trousers, shorts, shoes, hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts and even matchsticks.<\/p>\n\n

But what really made WACKO MARIA famous are the shirts<\/strong>. Featuring both short sleeves and long sleeves, with shapes ranging from the typical Hawaiian model, to the Cuba line up to the Korean neck, the shirts signed by the Japanese brand are truly unique. It would be possible to wear a different one every day without ever risking to obtain the same outfit.
