A few months after his appointment as creative director of Bally<\/strong>, Rhuigi Villase\u00f1or<\/strong><\/a> amazes us with a new project: RHU<\/a><\/strong>. The acronym means “Redesigning Human Uniform” and comes from an idea developed in collaboration with Zara<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The designer explains that this collection was created to give a cheaper alternative to his brand Rhude<\/strong>, founded in 2015. “Prices are up, inflation is up. How can the kids shop? This collection is not only about escapism, it\u2019s really making sure they are still a part of something special.” he said.<\/p>\n

Therefore, RHU was created in a post-athleisure, post-streetwear world, where clothing must be functional and comfortable and at the same time a reflection of your own identity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The main aim of this collection is to evoke the lifestyle of Villase\u00f1or himself, who is able to be at ease in important contexts as in the most humble ones. The capsule completely breaks the boundaries between formality and informality<\/strong>, offering 57 ready to wear garments<\/strong>, 6 shoe models and 6 bags<\/strong>. Denim, varsity jackets, utility pants, shirts and sports pants are just a small example of the wide selection created.<\/p>\n

The price range ranges from $9 to $250 and offers quality products. “Really good design is a right”<\/strong> said Rhuigi, also explaining how he pushed Zara to a higher quality production, saying he was very proud of the result. “I have always felt a strong affinity for creating well-made products that are not defined by their price,” he added.<\/p>\n
