Number 11 bis of Rue Francois houses the Dior \u201cGalerie\u201d<\/a>:<\/b> a white marble staircase allows you to pass through a Diorama of approximately 1870 objects from the world of Dior.<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Inside, the Galerie Dior is a tribute to the designer<\/b>, pieces that trace his history, as well as that of the Maison. It includes an exhibition of miniatures of dresses created by the seven official coutiers<\/b>: C. Dior, Y.S.Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferr\u00e8, John Galliano, R.Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dresses from the first show (February 12, 1947) to today are combined with “Lady D” or “Saddle” bags, “J\u2019adore” perfume bottles and Steven Jones caps.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1422 pieces<\/span><\/b><\/span>, from iconic bags to dresses, shoes and perfumes, were reproduced in bright colors<\/b> and innovative materials using 30 3D printers<\/b>: these worked 24 hours a day, seven days a week, completing production in six months.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To accompany the exhibition<\/b>, there are also videos of all the couturiers of the Maison at work in the atelier, which still occupies the fourth and fifth floors above La Galerie.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
