In a campaign photographed by Rafael Pavarotti<\/strong><\/a>, the Dior<\/a> Winter 2021\/2022 Men<\/strong>‘s collection is presented in collaboration with the British artist Peter Doig<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For the occasion, Kim Jones<\/strong><\/a> combined luxury silhouettes<\/strong> and tailoring<\/strong> with accessories such as jewelry, bags<\/strong> and headgear<\/strong>. “It’s a mix of modernity and poetic melancholy,” she said speaking of the campaign. In fact, these are photographs that, if we analyze them well, almost look like paintings that accurately capture the universe of the artist Peter Doig<\/strong>. Balance, right contrasts. The pieces created with him and by him are put in the foreground with an emphasis on accessories such as hats and caps which, worn by the models, turn out to be the real must of this collection. They appear as real canvases painted by the artist.<\/p>\n

The Saddle Bag<\/strong> instead returns but in a selection of different sizes and materials, including an oversized men’s silhouette<\/strong> and a rigid gold-colored shoulder strap<\/strong>. Dior<\/a>‘s Oblique logo<\/strong> is everywhere, while other accessories that pay homage to Renaissance cameos and officers’ medals were designed by Yoon Ahn<\/strong> of AMBUSH<\/strong>.
\nAs far as clothing is concerned, we are faced with tailored coats in red and beige, mohair<\/strong> sweaters and heavy sweaters, tight turtlenecks<\/strong> and wide trousers. A new sneaker<\/strong> is also unveiled that features a down-like upper.<\/p>\n

The Dior Winter 2021\/2022 Men’<\/strong>s collection is made unique not only by the garments that compose it. What is most striking about the campaign is the way it is presented. These are photographs that, like works of art, arrive strong and clear to the public who cannot help but be enchanted by them.<\/p>\n
