The Gallery Department<\/a> x Lanvin<\/a><\/strong> collection seems to be the absolute novelty of men’s fashion for summer 2021<\/strong>. Personal, innovative, a concentration of fashion<\/strong>, street style<\/strong> and art<\/strong>.<\/p>\n This is a collaboration<\/strong>, born from the French maison<\/strong> directed by the Italian designer Bruno Sialelli<\/strong> and the Los Angeles brand founded by Josu\u00e8 Thomas<\/strong>. Reinventing garments is not easy but when it is done by a figure like Josu\u00e8 the result can only be guaranteed. Let’s not forget, in fact, that the artist and designer is used to reusing<\/strong> and reimagining<\/strong> what inspires him, transforming it into something new. The intent of the Gallery Department is precisely to create a convincing product, and it is no coincidence that its philosophy is: to create, collaborate and rebel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Giving new life to limited edition garments: this is the goal. Jeans, printed t-shirts, asymmetrical shirts are taken but also men’s shoes, hooded sweatshirts, polo shirts. Then these same pieces are colored with Expressionist paint spots<\/strong> and that’s it. Everything is tinged with splashes of color, even accessories such as card holders, scarves, men’s kraft paper<\/strong> bags, all elements that apparently are among the simplest but which, with the addition of color, rediscover a new life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “The design process for collaborating with Lanvin was relatively similar to how we create at the Gallery Department. I wanted each garment to have the feeling that people can connect forever. The set, the sounds and the composition of the campaign were as important as it was. the collection for me. It is a great energy and small imperfect details that create an apparently normal garment or such a special accessory “.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n This is what Josu\u00e8 Thomas<\/strong> says about the 2021 capsule collection<\/strong> and it is enough to make us understand even more what his goals are.
